ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born in Catania (Sicily), 1979.
Actually she have a doctorate in "Multimedia Installations" to Academy of Arts, Catania, Italy for the third year. Her work is focused on the inner world rather than on personality: each individual is and expresses a dynamic being. Her attention is devoted to this ongoing moment of 'transit', the process of change and its possibility to end in radical results, within the individual. Transgenderism is a vision of the behavioural pattern that exists between two polarities: the vision of the never-ending range of possibilities available when in 'transit' from one point to another. In this way, Transgenderism legitimises the existence of innumerable possibilities of 'identity' moments. (cit. Helena Velena)
